This is my entry for NESMaker Hype Jam.

We had to make a game using NES restrictions(color palette, sound etc..)

The Game controls and info can be found in game menu(Press Spacebar where prompted)

This is a strategy/survival/grid based  game, you have to navigate Pete to his home while collecting food to stay alive. You can also collect coins and special items for more points! How high of a score can you get?

Please leave comments to help me improve!

Thanks and have fun!!

Changelog 27/02/18;

Fixed  - "energy bug" The game sometimes would not register a health pick up, if your health dropped to 0 as you moved on to a "food" tile.

Fixed  - End score display was displaying the highest score, not your score from the current game, now displays properly.

Fixed  - Sometimes an item would not be collected when player stepped on it, was a collision issue now resolved.

Fixed - 1 coin was inaccessable, so.. I moved mountains.. :)

Updated-  Health text changes color depending on value(red is low, green is good),Art for the tiles, Art for the End Screen,
          added a little effect when you reach home, re-worked gameplay a bit(added/removed/moved some health pick ups)
          The "Exit" now gives +3 health, instead of -1, various menu tweaks.

New -  Added sound control on main menu, you can now set the volumes as you wish!(The NES obviously did not use a mouse, but we do ;) ).

New - Added a new high value coin, can only collect it on water tiles and certain tree tiles. It is worth 200 cash and score, whereas the
regular coin is only worth 25 cash and score.

Any further issues will be dealt with if the need arises, Thanks and have fun!
